Young arrives, Cruz sent down
No surprise here, but the Pirates optioned utilityman Luis Cruz to Triple-A Indianapolis on Friday to make room for Delwyn Young on the team’s 25-man roster. Young has arrived in Pittsburgh and will be in uniform for Friday’s game.
Cruz appeared in just one game this year and went 1-for-2.
