Out of commission
Just a quick note that the blog is going to go on a short leave this week. I have taken some personal days from work and will rejoin the team in Washington DC on Monday and stay with the club through the remainder of the 10-day roadtrip. Until then, though, your Bucs coverage is in good hands. It’s only the daily blog entries that will be missing…

Jen, Have you considered going away more often
. Just kidding, but the results were better this week.
Hope you’ve been enjoying yourself during your time off. The Buccos are looking like Crapps lately. It must get a little depressing sometimes when all you have to write about is the Buccos losing this game, the Buccos giving that one away, or the Buccos totally blew it again.
Anyways, I just wanted to wish you well during your career as a writer. You’re really good, and I hope you’re rewarded with the opportunity and excitement of covering a championship team someday.
