Pirates deal away Morgan, Burnett; acquire Milledge and Hanrahan
It’s official.
The Pirates and Nationals have agreed to a deal that sends outfielder Lastings Milledge and right-hander Joel Hanrahan to Pittsburgh and outfielder Nyjer Morgan and left-hander Sean Burnett to Washington.
As a Bucs fan for 55 years, I am sick of what has happened over the past 17. They will never match the Steelers or Pens with such lousy ownership and the total disregard for the fan and lack of winning attitude shown by their actions. I actually thought at the beginning of the season that they may actually walk away with 82 or more victories. Yeah, right………….I should have known.
