The Pirates announced on Tuesday that Dave Matthews Band will hold a concert at PNC Park on July 10. The Zac Brown Band, which performed after a Pirates game last season, will open the concert.
This will be the fourth major concert held at the ballpark. The first three included Bruce Springsteen (2003), Jimmy Buffett (2005) and Pearl Jam/Rolling Stones (2005).
Tickets for the concert will go on sale to the general public on Feb. 26.

Not that this has anything to do with the dave matthews band playing… But, when we had a song (“We are Family”) we won a a championship, so maybe we need a song to raly behind now, kind of the like Steelers play Renagade during tv time outs and the plave got NUTS!! we need to get like Livin’ on a prayer or something! I’m sick of not having a song to hear on the radio that makes me think of them. I hear Renagade I think Steelers, I hear either Don’t Stop Believin’ or We will Rock You I think Penguins and I think of a top-tapping catch and a last second desparation block when I hear WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS and it makes me tear up even now!!
So from now on Livin’ on a Prayer is The Pirate’s Song!
