Kevin Hart placed on DL

Kevin Hart has been placed on the Triple-A disabled list with what the organization believes to be right biceps tendinitis, said director of player development Kyle Stark. Stark said that there is not yet an estimate on how much time Hart is expected to miss.
Hart, who lost out on the Pirates’ fifth rotation spot this spring, has made five appearances (four starts) with Triple-A Indianapolis this season. Overall, he has allowed 13 earned runs on 18 hits in 17 1/3 innings. Hart has walked 11 and struck out 19.
His most recent outing came on Wednesday, and it wasn’t a pretty one. The righty lasted just two innings and gave up seven earned runs on seven hits and four walks.
In order to give Indianapolis an extra arm in the bullpen, right-hander Mike Dubee has been promoted from Double-A. Dubee has pitched 9 2/3 innings out of the Altoona bullpen this season. He has allowed just one earned run on seven hits.
