Double-A Altoona roster set

The Pirates’ Double-A Altoona affiliate has announced its anticipated Opening Day roster. Highlighting the group of players beginning the year in Altoona is catcher Tony Sanchez, outfielder Starling Marte and a starting rotation that will should include Jeff Locke, Bryan Morris, Aaron Pribanic, Aaron Thompson and Brian Leach.

The full roster is below:

Pitchers: Tim Alderson, Tom Boleska, Anthony Claggett, Mike Colla, Michael Dubee, Jared Hughes, Noah Krol, Brian Leach, Jeff Locke, Bryan Morris, Aaron Pribanic, Aaron Thompson

Catchers: Eric Fryer, Tony Sanchez, Kris Watts

Infielders: Miles Durham, Jeremy Farrell, Shelby Ford, Brock Holt, Jordy Mercer

 Outfielders: Brad Chalk, Jose Hernandez, Quincy Latimore, Starling Marte
