This game was lost by rookie management as much as by poor clutch hitting. Why use Lynn so briefly then later remove Boggs after an important strikeout, when LHP Rzepczynski has frequently pitched poorly (and the replacement of the pinch hitter to negate the match up was so obvious). A very disheartening loss to start the series.

That’s how I see it as we’ll Zep should not even be on the roster never mind being left in the spot he was left in. The offence had many chances to build a lead and did not get it done. But Zep????? Why Mike Why? Not the same guy he was last year. Let me put it this way . . . Mike WTF are you thinking?
