Cards launch Varsity Club for teens

On Thursday, the Cardinals, in conjunction with Rawlings Sporting Goods, announced the formation of the Varsity Club, which will be a membership-based program for those from ages 14-to-19. In other words, think Cardinals Kids Club… but for teenagers. According to the Cardinals, this will be the first such fan club for teenagers among all major domestic professional sports leagues.
Membership costs $35 and includes a voucher for two tickets to a 2013 home game, a Varsity Club backpack, a Cardinals flat bill cap, a Cardinals coupon book, two issues of Cardinals Magazine and an invitation to Rawlings Varsity Club Day at the Ballpark (Aug. 14, 2013). On that day, Varsity Club members will receive two tickets to the game and will be able to attend a program featuring members of the Cardinals’ front office, Rawlings representatives and Cardinal players.
