Day 17: Cardinals @ Mets
Jenifer Langosch/MLB.com
The Cardinals travel to Port St. Lucie today for the first of five spring games against the Mets. Almost all of the team’s starting position players made the trek, though Rafael Furcal and Allen Craig stayed behind. Lance Lynn, who is about 40 pounds lighter than he was when he last pitched in a game, will make his spring debut. Michael Wacha is scheduled to make his second appearance.
Also, for those of you in the St. Louis market, this game will be televised on MLB Network. First pitch is scheduled for 12:10 p.m. CT.
