They sent Socolovich back down to Triple-A. Sad, ’cause he was doing pretty well. But then again, not sure who else you’d wanna’ take off the active roster right now to make room for JJ’s return. Hmmm.
Neither Greinke nor Kershaw starting tonite. Both are on rest. Good for the Cards. Only hope that the LAD pitcher Bolsinger doesn’t give us any problems.

Lackey had a really good game.Pitched like an ace.We need someone besides Wacha to step up and Lackey did just that last night.Too bad no Greinke or Kershaw,it would give the team a good indicator for down the road. We’ll probably see both out in LA next week.Glad to see JJ back but Grichuk needs to be in the line up for now,he’s just too hot at the moment. We’ll see what MM does tonight. Nice problem to have though.

Yup, would like to see either Greinke or Kershaw this weekend. But soon enuf’. MM said both Grichuk & Bourjos have contributed significantly, so Jay will probably get rotated in gradually over the next several games. I really don’t think there’s any reason to look to fill 1st base, other than Reynolds. Even if he would get hurt? I feel it’s a viable option to bring up Piscotty & throw him in there as the back-up. I mean, he’s played OF & 3rd…and could probably adjust, right? What was odd about Bolinger last nite? Is that none of fast-balls got over 90. Not even one. When ya’ look at his stats…you’d have to assume he’s got some “fancy” stuff. Just not last nite. Hehehe.
