No, no…it’s 1:15 this afternoon.CST

Local radio just announced that Jaime Garcia’s been put on the 15-day DL, retroactive back to June 25. Garcia said he didn’t feel right when he arrived at Busch Stadiium Sunday.Tyler Lyons & Mitch Harris have both been called back up. Garcia will NOT be taking questions from the media. (He can be a bit grumpy at times. Hahaha.)

Yes they mentioned that during the game. Brilliant when he is on, but very fragile health wise.

Not sure that Garcia’s all that fragile. It could be he’s over-reacting a bit. He’s an odd-bird…and has a history of disagreements, with the Cards’ coaches & their docs. Jaime’s kinda’ difficult to figure out….

Flyin’ Hawaiian strikes again. And I’m sorry Haley, but Garcia’s dress flys up over his head everytime he sneezes. This time, watch.I’ll be totally wrong.History is on my side.
Now on to the Cubs

I like it! The Flyin’ Hawaiian! You make that up? But I don’t get your Garcia’s dress/sneezes reference. So yeah, OK. Maybe I’m not the sharpest knife in the drawer. LOL.

No I read it about Wong. And the ‘dress fly over your head” Is an old Texas saying for one who fears everything. Like eeeeccckkk a mouse!!! Garcia is too soft.
Friday Rob Dibble from ESPN radio here in Ct. was complaining that teams that”suck” get too much air time on radio and T.V. So, starting this week he’ll focus only on the first place and wild card teams. I’ll listen later to hear how it goes, but me thinks he’s going to ‘P’-off the Sox fans……………who cares!!! As an ex-Red he says they should redo the team, which he thinks includes trading Votto.
Wonder what’s cooking behind the scene in Mo’s office?? OH, to be a fly…short term of course.

Oh, OK…I get it. So yeah, Garcia seems to be a little on the “apprehensive” side. Hahaha. I kinda’ agree with Dibble. But I can understand MLB TV (national coverage) doing bits on every team. That’s their job. Daily highlights no matter which teams are playing.
Wow, trading Votto? He’s their man-man, isn’t he?
As for hack-gate? The FBI is ready to charge one of the Cards’ staffers…but they’re waiting for Houston’s arm of the law to complete THEIR investigation first…before releasing any info.

The trading of Votto is only Dibble’s view, but it does make sense if they go into rebuild mode. You are correct about MLB and even ESPN. they tend to focus locally with their outlets.I’m still proud that Dibble is talking about potential playoff teams and not whinny pretenders.Today’s focus has been on teams that will upgrade if they’re close( watchout for the Yankees on that front ). Dibbs stated to one caller the Cardinals won’t break the bank, because their history is “the next man up” philosophy and not only do the players buy into that attitude, but are PROUD to by into it.It’s why they are so damn tough and have the swaggger and talent to back it up. He picked the Cards as of now and the Orioles for the WS…………..Cards in 6 if that happens.
His disclaimer is the JUly trade deadline and who upgrades the best.

Your Dibbs guy sounds pwetty smart. ; )
