Will see if another new comer can give the offense a bit of a boost, after all the missed opportunities on Sunday. And I hope the rotation adjustments with Lynn and Lackey moving up doesn’t create problems this week. Lackey’s age and Lynn’s high pitch counts makes a bit more rest between games idea.

As I posted earlier we would have been better off losing after 9 innings than playing 18.Bull pen needs rest and the starters have been moved up some. Not a good mix.
Offense needs to come up big the next two nights.I feel the Cards will make a move for a bat even if Piscotty works out. Lind from Milwaukee seems to be the target.
Nice to hear from you again Jen,hope all is well.

I know we are all concerned about our offense, but we have the best run/diff. in baseball. Why don’t I feel great? Answer: I’m an idiot!

An off night for Wacha so those runs turned out to be crucial. So the Cards have won 3 of 4 since the break while Pittsburgh has lost 4 of 5. Let’s hope the this trend continues through the second half.
