Hopefully they can get some momentum from last nights come from behind win and give Jaime some run support. Too bad it starts so late though.

I laid in bed last night, fell asleep and woke up in the 9th…..just in time to crash again, but at least knowing we won.

I know. It’s a killer to have the game on so late.

At least the Pirates lost lost and we are ahead so far so can go to sleep knowing the lead is at least 3.5. And if they blow a 6-0 lead I will be glad to have missed it. Good night.

I guess you found out this morning that the Cards won, Bob. Red Bird bats were definitely making contact! The only way they could’ve blown a 6-0 lead, is to have Choate pitch…which he didn’t. Hahaha.
One of the main reason’s I love watching the Cardinals, is never knowing what to expect. How ’bout it….Bourjos hits a HR. Who wouldda’ thunk.
Several of our games have been won in a come-from-behind fashion. It’s those kinds of surprises, that make the games so much fun.
The D-Backs swept the Reds 4-game series…and won 1 of 3 from Pirates, before that. But if WE could sweep Arizona….it’d sure be a good way to go into the Giants series. (Altho’ splitting the D-Backs series would be mathematically acceptable.)
Speaking of which? It looks like San Fran will start Leake on Friday…then Vogelsong (Saturday) & Cain (Sunday). Thankfully, no Bumgarner this time around, either.
Lackey tonite. Usually solid….so high hopes for a win.

Laugh all you want but Choate scares it out of me.Even up 6! Anyone else get the feeling Bourjos will be released over the winter if not sooner?

They won’t trade/release/option Bourjos until the season’s over. But post-season, I’ll agree with you. He’ll likely be fair-game.
