Pre-game, Yadi interview said hopefully he can be back in 4-5 days?

Hope they don’t rush him especially if they keep this lead in the division. A rest could set him up better for post season. After all they brought Holliday back too soon and we saw what happened there. Hope they don’t make that mistake with Wainwright too.

Well, from listening to a coupla’ docs on TV & the radio today, regarding Yadi’s type of injury? With it being the glove hand, his thumb COULD be minimally splinted in such a way that it’d let him wear a glove to catch. Throwing of course, no problem. The only issue tho’…would likely be wiffing at bat. Obviously, Yadi’s grip on a bat would suffer.
And how ’bout it….Cruz got on base again. ; )

Another close late win. Good to see Cishek pay off for once. 95 wins with 10 left. Let’s hope Lynn has a better effort tomorrow.

Lynn makes me nervous. However, maybe he’ll finally realize that he can’t throw fast-balls ALL the time. Way too easy to figure out & anticipate.
Hrabowsky is really high on Lackey. He feels with so many young Cardinal pitchers, his veteran presence is invaluable. Besides…he likes the “crusty” attitude Lackey brings brings with him….and I agree.
Let’s hope we sweep tomorrow…
