Tejada got released by the Mets. Anyone interested? I’d say yes. Its only money and no loss of prospects. He could be a place card until Perralta is back and he won’t have to rush his recovery. It also won’t force us to rush the younger guys.

Tejada passed through waviers so the 3mil he’s owed can be renegociated. The New York press is glad he’s gone. Troubled attitude, average SS at best, and desire to compete is questionable. I’m backing off now and saying go with Diaz. He won’t be over matched because Yadi and the others will keep him focused. Maybe move Perralta to 1st base when he gets back, although he’ll have zero spring games to get use to it. He would be a RH power bat.
