Hope all goes well with Jose Oquendo’s surgery. He’s a true Cardinal.

From what I’ve gathered in print & on TV, Jose does not want to return as the Cards’ 3B coach. Supposedly, he’d rather get a job in the minors, since his family lives in Florida. And maybe something not so physical, as well (hopefully, so a knee replacement’s not ultimately necessary)?
No doubt that the constant travel has to be pretty rough on everyone.
Glad to hear MM is planning on platooning Gyorko & Tejada. As I said before, I like Gyorko a little better than Tejada, overall.
