Good to see the lineup adjustments continuing. Will see if Wainwright can bounce back with a better effort, with support from the youthful offense.

Atlanta RHP = LH lineup though Moss and Adams are off to a slow start. Garcia coming through again today?????

I’ll bet teams noticed how well we’ve done against RHP. Pittsburgh has two LH starters and they struke us out in droves.

Well Moss and Carpenter came through with long balls but the only players really consistently clicking on offense are the new guys – Hazelbaker, Piscotty, Garcia and Diaz. Infield issues continue also. But good to even the win-loss ahead of the home opener and with Milwaukee in they can hopefully keep the momentum. If they come out of April/May at or near .500 they will be better placed when some combination of Pena, Peralta, Tejada, Walden return. (Gonzales looks like surgery and a longer recovery though).

Don’t forget Reyes will be off his suspension too.

Why is Rosenthal credited with a save when the only reason the game was close was that he loaded the bases in the 9th. The game has some curious rules I will never fully understand.

Good point Bob, I don’t know.
Worried about Waino. Thank goodness Perez was worse. Much needed offensive boost the last two games especially. Now can they do it against the good teams? Milwaukee and Cincinnati up next. Division games, and we needed to keep this momentum. Also, since Haley went out of town we started winning.

Yes would like to hear what Haley thinks of the weekend. Opening day tomorrow, with first pitch from my childhood favourite Mr. Brock.

Wong 3 errors in 6 games. That has to stop, Oh has been terrific during his appearances and Piscotty is heating up. Grichuk has to get-off-the-snide.
