Carp’s not ready. Wong,Adams and Moss must pick it up if we’re going anywhere for the rest of the year.

Now I read that the Cards are looking to extend Moss. I thought moving him in July for prospects would be better in the long run. Those 35+ yr. olds worry me. A-Rod fell off the map in one season. 22 homers last yr. to not catching up with the ball the next. BB skills never seem to fade slowly…..more like falling off a cliff.

Well, we swept ’em last time making us 4-2 vs the Braves. The Cubs are 3-3 vs the Braves this season, so at least we fared better than Chicago.
As for Moss? Mo’s probably trying to re-negotiate early to avoid competing against other potential offers this off-season. But the article also said, Moss felt it’s too early at this point to be discussing things like that. He ain’t no dummy. Hehehe.
And oh boy, A-Rod really did hit a slump this year. 33 HR’s last year, and only 9 HR’s this season accompanied by a .207 BA.

MLB reporter-guy, Ken Rosenthal…says A-Rod won’t firmly say he won’t try to play ball again. He asked him 3 times, and all of A-Rods responses were vague & non-committal about the future.

Interesting interview I just heard. A talking head was theorizing why Mo may be slow or reticent to do any trades. Manfred has yet to levy a punishment against the Red Birds regarding the Astro’s hacking deal….right? So it’s hard to anticipate what, if anything…will come down on the Cards’ front office. Prospects could be affected, there might be a suspension of some sort…either, both…or who knows what else it could be.

I don’t see players being affected, but front office yes. Draft picks maybe. However players we already have being used in punishment that they had nothing to do with I don’t see happening. Talking head is full of it. Mo has been getting beat recently and the team’s lack of improvement shows it.

Went to the ‘Travlers’ golf tourney on Sunday and watch Jim Furyk’s last 6 holes when he shot the record 58. Lowest round ever recorded in a PGA event. Very cool to see history made.

Yes Dave, the record 58 was ALL over the news! Can’t believe you got to see it in person. Wowee! ; )
